RHOC Who Got A Restraining Order Against Kelly Dodd?

Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd has been at war with the rest of the cast for months – both on TV and on social media – and she made things worse when she hit Shannon Beador on the head with a mallet and then later smacked Gina Kirschenheiter during the cast trip to an Arizona spa. Now, an insider claims that Dodd’s crazy behavior has been going on for years, and she “regularly beat up” her ex-husband Michael Dodd during their marriage.

According to All About the Tea, Kelly once beat up Michael so bad when she was drunk, it left him with a black eye.

“Michael was laying on the couch one night when she came home from the bar, and they got in a fight and she clawed his face and punched him in the eye,” says the source. “His face was so badly beaten that he couldn’t leave the house for over a week. He was tortured in that marriage.”

The insider says that Michael took pictures of his injuries and it led to police arresting Kelly on July 6, 2014, and prosecutors charged her with Domestic Battery.

“Kelly Denise Dodd did willfully and unlawfully inflict corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition upon [Michael Dodd], who was the spouse of the defendant,” say court documents.

Michael also obtained a restraining order a week later that prohibited Kelly from “personal, electronic, telephonic, or written contact” with him. The court ordered her to stay at least 100 feet away from her then husband.

Kelly’s RHOC co-star Vicki Gunvalson revealed on Instagram that her fiance Steve Lodge saw the pics of the damage Kelly caused to Michael’s face.

In addition to abusing Michael, Kelly’s brother Eric Meza has also accused her of pushing their mother Bobbi Meza down a flight of stairs. In September 2018, Eric recorded a video of Bobbi admitting that Kelly pushed her.

Earlier this year, Kelly reportedly got into a bar fight with a woman she believed was sleeping with her then-boyfriend, Dr. Brian Reagan. And, Tamra Judge has said in recent interviews that her friendship with Kelly Dodd is over because of something that happened at the end of filming the current season of RHOC.
