BTS Tops Billboard 'Hot 100' and '200' Charts for 4th Week in a Row

BTS’ continue to rise on the Billboard charts with their latest album Love Yourself: Her and lead single “DNA.”

Earlier today, Billboard released its charts for the week of October 28th, which revealed that “DNA” has charted for the fourth week in a row on the Hot 100, this time coming at #98. As for the Billboard 200 chart, Love Yourself: Her has jumped 20 spots from #35 to #15. It previously landed at #7 in its first week, making BTS the first K-Pop artists to make that claim. “DNA” also debuted at #85, and at #67 in its second week.

The news comes shortly after the group announced they will be releasing their eighth Japanese album in early December, which will include Japanese versions of songs from Love Yourself: Her, along with an original Japanese track titled “Crystal Snow.”

2017 has certainty proven to be the K-Pop group’s biggest year yet, with the group becoming the most followed act in and from Korea with over 9 million followers on Twitter. As of October 17th, the music video for “DNA” has gained an impressive 111 million views and over 2 million likes since its release last month, with over 45 million streams on Spotify.

The group’s single has also not only done extremely well internationally, but also in their home country of South Korea, with “DNA” winning a total of ten awards across different Korean Music Shows.
